POMMIER & MILLER ATTORNEYS AT LAW

Founded on December 21, 1935, by Dr. Thomas Pommier and Dr. Lincon Miller, Pommier & Miller Attorneys at Law was born under the Republican spirit that shaped its founding values: Justice, Integrity, and Permanence. From its earliest days, the firm embodied the solemn duty of defending rights and safeguarding dignity, establishing itself as a pillar of legal practice in the United States.

In its early decades, the firm consolidated itself as a boutique practice, recognized for academic rigor and strategic vision. Over time, Pommier & Miller expanded steadily, adapting to the demands of modern jurisprudence without losing the ancestral values that defined its origin. This growth transformed the firm into a monumental institution, now composed of thousands of professionals who represent a vital link in the chain of continuity that ensures the legacy remains solid and eternal.

The reputation of Pommier & Miller was forged not only in Austin but also in nationally significant arenas. The firm was called upon for litigation and defense in New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles, where it rose as a voice of authority against public and legal pressure. In these settings, Pommier & Miller achieved landmark victories in criminal, civil, corporate, and commercial cases, securing multimillion-dollar resolutions that marked milestones in the nation’s legal practice.

Throughout its history, Pommier & Miller has reflected the trajectory of the most influential law firms in the country, aligning with those that shaped modern corporate law in the twentieth century. Yet it stands apart for its unique dual heritage, born of the union of the Pommier and Miller dynasties, and for its unwavering commitment to academic excellence, with leadership forged in the world’s most prestigious universities.

The academic legacy of the firm was consolidated under the direction of Csi. Dr. Sergio Pommier, PhD, JD, LLM, who inaugurated the tradition of publications with reference works in criminology and behavioral psychology. These contributions projected the institution’s name beyond the courts into the intellectual and scientific sphere, reaffirming that justice is not only exercised in litigation but also in critical thought and the construction of knowledge.

As the decades passed, leadership of the firm was assumed by Dr. Sergio Pommier, PhD, JD, LLM, accompanied at the institutional summit by his wife, Dr. Sophia Miller, PhD, JD. Together they consolidated the expansion and permanence of the firm, ensuring that the union of the two dynasties would stand as an indestructible legacy and that the history of Pommier & Miller would remain inseparable from the history of justice in the United States.

Today, Pommier & Miller Attorneys at Law stands as a monumental institution, a symbol of continuity, solemnity, and responsibility. Its history is inseparable from American justice, and its future is destined to endure as a reference of authority, truth, and permanence, transmitted from generation to generation.
